These terms apply when you use the Headscovery website and purchase our guided self-help programs. Please read them before you buy. By purchasing a program, you agree to these terms.
About these terms
The Headscovery website and programs are provided by Simone Astarita (“Headscovery”, “we”, “us”), contactable at hello@headscovery.com. Registered address available on request. These terms form an agreement between you and us. If you do not agree with them, please do not purchase or use our programs.
What we provide
Headscovery offers structured, guided self-help programs for behavioral change, delivered as written modules, exercise cards and page diagrams that you read and work through at your own pace. Programs are developed and reviewed by licensed clinical psychologists. The exercises in each module are done on your own notebook or document; the programs do not store your answers.
Not a clinical service
Headscovery is not a clinical or medical service and does not replace professional psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
Our programs are educational and self-help in nature. They do not create a therapist-patient or doctor-patient relationship, and nothing in them is medical advice tailored to your situation.
If you are in crisis, are thinking about harming yourself, or need medical or psychological care, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Headscovery is not a substitute for that help.
Eligibility
Our programs are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use them. By buying a program, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Purchases and payment
Programs are sold as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal: you pay once, and nothing is charged to you again for that program.
- Price. The price is shown as the final amount payable, in the currency applied at checkout. The currency is determined by the country you are in; you see the exact amount before you confirm the payment.
- Payment. Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Receipt. Stripe sends your receipt to the email address you use at checkout. That same address is the one your access is tied to.
Refunds: 14 days
If the program is not right for you, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and we refund the full amount. Write to hello@headscovery.com from the address you used at checkout. We do not ask how much of the program you have read, and we do not ask you to justify the request.
Once a refund is issued, your access to the program ends. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not affect the statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Your access and acceptable use
When you purchase a program, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to access its content for your own use, for as long as the program remains available (see how long the program stays available). Access is tied to your personal account (your email) and is meant only for you.
- Please do not share your account or sign-in code, or copy, redistribute, publish, or resell the program content.
- Please do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
How long the program stays available
Your purchase is not time-limited and does not expire on a date. It lasts for as long as we keep the program available, which is what we intend to do: the program is the product, and we go on developing it.
We cannot promise, however, that any program will be online forever. If we ever have to discontinue one, we will let you know in advance at the email address on your account and leave a reasonable window, at least 90 days from that notice, during which you can still go through the material. After that window, access ends and no further payment is due from you.
This does not apply to a program you have been refunded for: access ends with the refund.
Intellectual property
All program content, text, graphics, and the Headscovery name and brand are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Your purchase gives you a right to use the content as described above; it does not transfer any ownership to you.
Disclaimers and liability
We put real care into our programs, but we cannot guarantee any particular outcome. Behavioral change depends on many factors that are outside our control, and results vary from person to person.
The programs are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms or the programs from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
Language versions
If these terms are available to you in more than one language, the version in the language in which you made your purchase prevails in case of any difference between them. This does not affect the protections the law gives you as a consumer, including the interpretation most favorable to you in case of doubt.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
