These terms apply when you use the Headscovery website and purchase our guided self-help programs. Please read them before you buy. By purchasing a program, you agree to these terms.
About these terms
The Headscovery website and programs are provided by Simone Astarita ("Headscovery", "we", "us"), contactable at hello@headscovery.com. Registered address available on request. These terms form an agreement between you and us. If you do not agree with them, please do not purchase or use our programs.
What we provide
Headscovery offers structured, guided self-help programs for behavioral change, delivered as written modules and videos that you read and work through at your own pace. Programs are developed and reviewed by licensed clinical psychologists. The exercises in each module are done on your own notebook or document; the programs do not store your answers.
Not a clinical service
Headscovery is not a clinical or medical service and does not replace professional psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
Our programs are educational and self-help in nature. They do not create a therapist-patient or doctor-patient relationship, and nothing in them is medical advice tailored to your situation.
If you are in crisis, are thinking about harming yourself, or need medical or psychological care, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Headscovery is not a substitute for that help.
Eligibility
Our programs are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use them. By buying a program, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Purchases, subscriptions and billing
Programs are sold as a subscription, available on different plans (for example monthly, quarterly, and annual). The available plans and prices are shown at checkout.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Prices. Prices are shown as the final amount payable, in the currency applied at checkout. Any applicable taxes are included where required.
- Payment. Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Right of withdrawal and immediate access
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. However, our programs give you access to digital content immediately after purchase.
By starting your subscription and gaining immediate access, you expressly request that we begin performance during the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal once access has been provided, in accordance with applicable consumer law. You confirm this at checkout before payment.
Refunds
Because access to the program content is provided immediately and the right of withdrawal is waived as described above, payments for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable, except where required by law.
If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed afterwards. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a period.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time through the customer portal provided by our payment provider, the link to which is included in your payment confirmation. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your access and acceptable use
When you purchase a program, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to access its content for your own use while your subscription is active. The access link is private and meant only for you.
- Please do not share your access link, or copy, redistribute, publish, or resell the program content.
- Please do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
Intellectual property
All program content, text, video, graphics, and the Headscovery name and brand are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Your purchase gives you a right to use the content as described above; it does not transfer any ownership to you.
Disclaimers and liability
We put real care into our programs, but we cannot guarantee any particular outcome. Behavioral change depends on many factors that are outside our control, and results vary from person to person.
The programs are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms or the programs from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. Changes do not apply retroactively to a billing period you have already paid for.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumers in the EU at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
